Changes to take place on January 6, 2025

The general use by the Public Administration of the Computerized System for Issuing Opinions will be implemented (art. 27 A, DL 135/99).

The compulsory use of this system, in addition to speeding up communication, will not allow opinions to be issued or other elements to be entered after the deadline has passed.

Changes to take place on January 5, 2026

The new Electronic Platform for Urban Planning Procedures (PEPU), the central tool for submitting urban planning procedures at national level, will be implemented.

The PEPU will be mandatory and dematerialized for the entire national territory, in the 308 municipalities, and will be the means used to submit all urban planning procedures. It will standardize the way processes are submitted, both in terms of procedures and delivery elements and their formatting.

When it comes into force, the PEPU will automatically count deadlines and integrate automation to enable tacit approval. It will make it possible to obtain proofs, issue documentation and pay fees, with interoperability with information systems - Registries and Notaries, BUPI and the Tax Authority.
